Jurgen Klopp admits he dreams of having a team 'full of Scousers' as he praises youngsters

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says he would love to have a team made up completely of players who have come through the academy of the club in the future.

More recently Trent Alexander-Arnold has made the leap from the youth team to become arguably one of the best players in his position in the world, while there are high hopes for the likes of 19-year-old midfielder Curtis Jones, who scored in the 2-0 win against Aston Villa on Sunday. "We want to be of course if you love football and are talented we want you to be here. We have to show perspectives. It is really nice the boys are so close to it. That Trent made it... is a good sign for the kids around."

He added: "They are so humble and hard working. The perfect scenario is that we have these role model professionals around.
