Kilkenny camogie star Grace Walsh is leaving 'pressure in the past' and is getting back to basics when it comes to the sport she loves so dearly.
The Cats won against Galway back in 2020, but they missed out on the final for the first time in six years when Cork beat them in last year's semi-final. Grace hasn't always dealt with losing matches or poor performances all too well but has adopted new coping mechanisms, which in turn have helped her to better enjoy the sport that she is so talented at."You can analyse your performances, but to improve your game rather than to think negatively about yourself.
She said: "I felt really lucky with my job because I didn’t have to stay at home and I got to go into work every day and life actually felt pretty normal. "The evenings that I’m not training I can actually chill out, go to the cinema, go out for dinner, or hang out with my friends. "We are definitely all mad into GAA. We get on very well, we have a very close bond as a family," she said.
