Yellowstone star Kevin Costner has been in court to hash out the terms of his child support package with ex-wife Christine Baumgartner after the end of their 18 year marriage

Kevin Costner has opened up about his divorce from wife Christine Baumgartner admitting he is in a "horrible place."

Kevin however believes he should only have to pay $60,000 per month, which led to Christine's lawyers accusing him of earning more money than he has previously admitted to. The Bodyguard star addressed the claim with sarcasm: "Oh good, we'll have to have a treasure hunt to find it."Outside of the courthouse he then addressed the issue further as he spoke to Access Hollywood confessing to the gravity of the situation. He said: "Were you laughing? I wasn't.

Earlier this week Kevin's legal team accused Christine of attempting to go after his character as the divorce progresses. Legal documents obtained by Fox News on Thursday saw his lawyers state that "Christine's relentless ‘jihad' against Kevin's character adds a level of animosity to this proceeding that is wholly unnecessary, and meant to distract from the intellectual exercise at hand.

Christine argued in a legal brief filed by her team on August 31 as obtained by US Weekly, that she wants the sum she is paid for her children to be "at a level commensurate with Kevin's considerable wealth."
