The Princess of Wales has shared a new photo as she marks Mother's Day with her children and recovers from surgery.
The image was taken a 'few days ago'', according to the BBC reports just days after a photo was published in the US of her with the mother on the Windsor Estate. Despite Kensington Palace announcing the future queen would step back from all official duties during a two week hospital stay and a period of convalescence at home until after Easter, Kate's long-awaited return was plunged into chaos on Tuesday when the Army announced she would appear at a Trooping the Colour rehearsal in June. Tickets were offered for sale online for what would have been the princess’ first officially-announced public engagement since her surgery.
Tomorrow, Kate is set to miss out on one of the biggest events in the royal calendar, the annual Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey - although William is set to attend.
