Michael Carvill , the founder and managing director of Kenmare Resources , is planning to step down in the summer after almost 40 years at the company. The founder of the Irish mining company will stand for re-appointment at the annual general meeting in May.
Subject to his re-election, he will remain on the board and in his executive role until August and then stay on as a consultant with the firm until the end of 2024.
