Katie McCabe says the Women's National Team's first match in the Aviva Stadium has been a long time coming.
It will be yet another historic moment for the team, and Katie says "without a doubt" the decision was a long time coming."We’ve seen so much support in Tallaght Stadium over the years, and we love playing there for our fans but yeah, for sure, I’m excited for this next step. Ireland have also qualified for their first ever World Cup and Katie believes support for women in sport is going in the right direction.
"A few years ago, only a handful of people would come to Arsenal games but back in April, there was a record sell-out with 60,000 tickets sold for the Arsenal Women's Champions League semi-final second leg."Adding to that, Ireland's opening game against Australia this summer has been moved to Stadium Australia in Sydney to meet ticket demands.
