Katie Hannon lands new RTE prime time show to replace Claire Byrne Live

RTE’s Kate Hannon has landed a new current affairs show called ‘Upfront with Katie Hannon’ which will replace the prime time Monday night slot previously reserved for Claire Byrne Live.RTE announced the news on Wednesday morning, explaining Katie will moderate the live show “where the public come face to face with the people whose decisions impact directly on their lives”.“The programme will take audiences beyond the headlines of the big stories of the day to those who are living that story.

Katie is already known across the national broadcaster for presenting RTE Radio 1’s Late Debate and Saturday with Katie Hannon, as well as regularly standing in for Joe Duffy’s Liveline since 2018.
