Wearing a white jacket over a grey suit, Abdi stood up when arraigned before the Central Criminal Court this morning. A jury of seven men and five women was sworn in to hear the trial, which is due to begin tomorrow morning before Justice Alexander Owens and is expected to last up to five days.
It doesn't say in the report hence the question - why has this taken 18 years to come to trial? Has new evidence come to light?
