“He put his knees upon his neck and his back, grinding and crushing him, until the very breath – no, ladies and gentlemen – until the very life was squeezed out of him,” the prosecutor said. “There is no political or social cause in this courtroom,” Nelson said. “But the evidence is far greater than nine minutes and 29 seconds.”

The first witness was Minneapolis police dispatcher Jena Scurry, who said she saw part of Floyd’s arrest unfolding on a city surveillance camera and was so disturbed she called a duty sergeant. Scurry said she became concerned because the officers had not moved after several minutes. It prompted calls for the country to confront racism and police brutality. Confederate statues and other symbols were pulled down around the US, and activists demanded that police department budgets be cut or overhauled.

Onlookers repeatedly shout at the officers to get off Floyd, and one woman, identifying herself as a city fire department employee, shouts at Chauvin to check Floyd’s pulse.

Guess you lot not covering the 'teenage' girls also in the US who tazed car jacked and killed a Muslim immigrant. Ah yeah right. It doesn't fit your racist narrative...

Hope he gets off. Watched some of this yesterday and it's clear the guy is being tossed under the bus.
