Coach John Kavanagh will be heavily involved in Bellator’s Champions Series in Belfast on Friday as he will corner a host of Irish stars on the card.
“It’s been a very intense couple of weeks, couple of months actually in the lead up to this one, any time you have a main event on a major organisation like PFL or Bellator, there’s always that extra bit of incentive to go that bit harder,” Kavanagh said. Moore defeated Karl Albrektsson at Bellator 285 in Dublin back in 2022 and has since gone on to add two more wins to his resume over Maciej Różański and then Alex Polizzi, in Chicago.
“This is under the Bellator banner, I’m expecting nothing short of a stellar performance. He’s definitely going to stop this guy, he hits too hard, his jiu-jitsu is phenomenal, will it be first round? This one could go second round but I’m seeing Nate Kelly finish this guy.” Many will remember youngster Nate Kelly, now 19, telling Dana White he’d be wrapping a belt around his waist at some point in the future while at the press conference for Conor McGregor vs Jose Aldo back in 2015.
