The dogs went back to the family home in Delaware

While it's known if any injuries were sustained by the victim, the incident was considered serious enough that Major and Champ were removed to Delaware where they remain.

Major, who is three, was adopted by the Biden family from an animal shelter in 2018 while Champ is much older at 13. Both had been living in the White House after moving there a week after their owner's inauguration. While the dogs are known to spend time in Delaware when their owners are out of town, it's unclear when the dogs would be allowed to return to the White House."They have to take the elevator, they're not used to that, and they have to go out on the South Lawn with lots of people watching them," she told The Kelly Clarkson Show.
