Jason O'Toole comment: 'Rugby World Cup is a great chance to promote Irish tourism to Japanese'

I got a big kick out of seeing Japanese fans wearing Ireland jerseys at our pulsating game against Scotland at the Rugby World Cup.

Naturally enough, local bars made sure to stock up for the estimated 100,000 fans descending on Japan. I was in Edinburgh two weeks ago and was struck by the huge number of Japanese tourists there – many more than I’ve ever seen here. I’d also imagine many English who regularly visit our shores will jump ship to Scotland too if we don’t step it up a gear.

An Irish soccer top can even improve your love life too, which is something I’ve firsthand experience of.
