Armagh and Crossmaglen defender James Morgan opens up on his triple injury blow

ARMAGH and Crossmaglen defender James Morgan is sidelined again and injury wise he’s “not great to tell you the truth.”

He went through a second hip operation a few weeks ago, his wrist requires surgery and he has a foot problem which he has to be patient with.If Crossmaglen are still playing, he’ll return for an All-Ireland semi-final or final. “The wrists, again I had the exact-same operation on my left hand so I know the process of that. The foot is the only one that is stalling the recovery a wee bit.

“When I hurt it again in the summer it gave me the opportunity to say: ‘Right, let’s go in and get this fully cleaned out and see if I can be a wee bit more mobile.’“But sure we’ll see. Time will tell. I’ll give it a whack and we can pull a sweeper back or I’ll get a handy role up front maybe if I can!”“I try not to pull on that strong too much and I try not to go down that road. You can look at it in two ways.
