Dublin-trained doctor laid to rest in UK after death while battling Covid-19 on frontline

A Dublin-trained doctor who died in the UK while working on the frontline battling Covid-19 has been laid to rest.

"Amged was the first frontline worker to die in the UK as a result of fighting the global coronavirus pandemic. His funeral took place in Bristol on 31st March 2020."One read: "To your bravery and dedication to helping human life while putting your own at risk may you RIP on the highest pedestal in heaven, thank you."

A third added: "My deepest sympathy to all the family. Dr. Amged was a brave man, sacrificing his life that others may live. May he rest in eternal peace.""We really cannot thank our healthcare workers enough.
