Cork secondary school whose pupils visited Italy issues statement amid coronavirus fears

A Cork secondary school have issued a statement about the coronavirus to parents after students went on a school tour to Italy earlier this month.

The statement from the all-girls school read: "Some of our students travelled to northern Italy from Wednesday 12th February to Monday 17th February on a school tour. "The HSE have informed the public through their website symptoms may take up to 14 days to appear and should your daughter present with a cough, shortness of breath, breathing difficulties or a fever to please seek medical advice.
