Irish pub bosses have clarified confusion over the new Covid rules following the lifting of most restrictions.

However the rapid change in policy left a lot of customers confused over what rules remained in place, with Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan advising that the use of masks should remain until at least February. And the Licensed Vintners Association , the representative body for publicans of Dublin, has confirmed that masks are now only obligatory for staff in customer facing roles.
