'It's not like they come from the moon.' The Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland has called for greater integration of asylum seekers when they arrive in Ireland.

The government and the people of Ireland continue to treat asylum seekers and refugees"like aliens".

Locals claimed that they were not consulted about the opening of a new refugee accommodation centre in the area - and some are not happy about it.MASI spokesperson Bulelani Mfaco said that he can understand why communities get frustrated when they're not consulted, but he's urging them to direct their annoyance at the government and not at refugees.

They're not asylum seekers. We don't see them as alien. They're parasites. Plain, and, simple.

'It's not like I come from the moon.' Famous words of illegal Irish, Albanian, Georgian, Nigerian etc at JFK before being bundled away to a prison cell ahead of deportation back to where they came from. MASI must stop treating the Irish people like fools. Enough DeportFrauds

ISIS never came from the moon either, nor did any Jihadi or criminal that I ever heard of. They all come from earth, same as these unvetted men the government are allowing in in ever increasing numbers.

Who is MASI? Are they funded by the taxpayer?. What makes their opionin of any more importance to broadcast than that of any given Irish person?

You'd be doing journalism if you asked the founders of MASI if there were delays/problems with their asylum claims and if so, why?

Number 1 thing a proper government should do is defund/ban MASI.

Ok so if someone robbed my wallet- should I be nice to them? And welcome them? Except for the Ukrainians -the rest I'll look down on them and treat them like crap all I want..... And no 'unqualified' 'woke' minister on 150k is going to stop me

Their culture is Alien and incompatible with ours.

Fun fact: high levels of diversity result in lower levels of social trust, undermining shared institutions including the welfare state.

He's here 7 years and still hasn't got a job. Such an asset to Ireland......

We need a party strong on immigration and the invasion of Ireland. Enoughs enough. IrelandisFull

All are frauds. All should be refused entry and immediately deported on the next plane out.

It's about time that the taxpayer was informed of how much of their taxes goes to MASI and how much their ceo is paid.

House them in posh neighbourhoods so.

I'd trust moon people more !

All of us are descendants of people who travelled to this island, almost all of whom came here seeking a better life than where they came from. Also many from this island left and were themselves 'aliens'.

We’ve taken in too many. We can’t even house our own people nevermind importing more problems. IrelandisFull

How about doing the right thing and not allowing them to arrive here! IrelandisFull

Illegal aliens !....

And his is coming from an illegal immigrant who was told to go home multiple times, so why are you giving this person news time

Integration . They need greater interrogation and sent home far faster. Should be able to turn them around in a week. There is a reason they are flocking here and it’s not for the weather

40% of arrivals claiming asylum have discarded their passports before they got here. We don't know who these people are. Lucky Khambule is a case in point. His wiki bio reads; 'Khambule was born in South Africa. [massive gap] He came to Ireland in 2013 and claimed asylum'

Asylum seekers claims for international protection haven't been granted so why would they be integrated? It's either an international protection system or it's an immigration system. Which is it?

True they haven’t come from the moon. The majority of them have come from safe countries. Integration isn’t what they need, it’s deportation. People coming from safe countries should be sent home right away.

'It's not like they come from the moon.'🤣🤣🤣🤣 if they came from the moon at least we would have some idea of their background...

Stop talking 💩

Ireland will rue the day they allowed. All the obvious evidence is across the pond to see except it won’t take decades as Ireland is such a small country. It fits in with the 2040 population plan to double the rural population of Ireland. It’s probably already toolate

This is a plantation of Ireland. Close. The. F’ing. Border. To. These. Spongers.

The definition of 'alien' is 'a foreigner, especially one who is not a naturalised citizen of the country where they are living'. Ergo, refugees ARE aliens. How we treat aliens is a different matter. All people, indigenous or alien, should be treated with respect and dignity, but

If we had rule of law they'd be detained in a secure facility and deported at the earliest possible time..you can't integrate these people into Ireland so stop kidding yourself.
