Cork mum says heart 'couldn't break anymore' after 'beautiful' son 'died in her arms'

A Cork mother says her "heart couldn't break anymore" as she comes to terms with the death of her son last August.

His heartbroken mother Stacey told CorkBeo that she wakes up every day and wonders why this had to happen to her. "It's devastating, I don't think my heart could break anymore, sometimes I go up to his room and expect him to be there but that's not going to happen. She added: "He was very quiet, very private, loved music, fishing, swimming, I have some great memories from our life together off on holidays and he always wanted to go swimming.

"He was very well-liked, beautiful, had lots of friends and wasn't short of anything in life, he really was a great young fella, just a good nature, pure quiet and happy go lucky. I don't think I'll ever come to terms with it."
