Venture capital fund formerly known as Draper Espirit endured a turbelent year in which tech company valuations plummeted

Molten Ventures, the Irish-listed venture capital fund formerly known as Draper Espirit, made a loss of £243.4 million in 2023, compared to a profit of £300.7 million in 2022, after a year in which tech company valuations plummeted.

The London-based company’s new financial accounts show that the value of the firm’s investments decreased by £240 million during the year, compared to a rise in the value of its investments of £329 million the year before.
