Snow fell in two counties on Monday evening as the rest of the country braces for freezing temperatures overnight.

A number of areas in Cork and Kerry were hit with snowfall including Clonakilty in Cork and Tralee in Kerry.Numerous Twitter users shared details of snow falling in their areas, particularly in Cork and Kerry.
