Ireland is going through something of a ‘big freeze’ at the moment with the entire country now under two different weather warnings, and one county in particular being subject to a third warning for freezing conditions.Meanwhile, Donegal was singled out and got a third warning for snow and ice. All three warnings are valid until 12pm on Saturday after which Met Eireann will update the forecast.

"Treacherous conditions with some severe frosts, icy stretches and dense freezing fog in parts too. Some hail, sleet or snow showers, but a good deal of dry weather overall".A widespread sharp to severe frost has already developed in many areas this evening and some icy stretches are possible on untreated roads as freezing fog becomes more widespread in light westerly or variable breezes.
