An investigation is underway after the sudden death of the man, in his last 30s, on Sunday morning.Gardai were made aware of the man by people walking by. A post mortem is due to be carried out and will determine the coure of the investigation.
A spokesman said: "Gardaí are investigating the sudden death of a man who passed away in St. James Hospital at 8am this morning, Sunday 20th October, 2019. "Gardaí were alerted to the incident by passing pedestrians who observed the man unconscious at Foster Place at approximately 7am.
