Garda speed vans Ireland: Interactive map shows exact location of new camera zones

Last week, - where there is a history of speed related collisions - which come into play from 6am on 17 February.

All zones are available on the Garda website and available for GPS Navigation providers such as Garmin, TomTom, Google Maps or Waze to download. Gardai say: "Since 2010, we have contributed to making our roads safer through the use of safety cameras, using a service provider ‘GoSafe’ to operate them on its behalf.

They added: "An Garda Síochána appeals to all road users, in particular motorists, to familiarise themselves with these sections of the road network.

Where are the new speed camera zones?Use our interactive map to see where the new safety cameras are located on 1,322 stretches of road around the country. Why give a heads up to people where they're going to be stopped from breaking the law? Won't people just habitually break speed limit outside of those zones?
