Vogue Williams’ dreamy Howth bedroom is a masterclass in creating a cosy home sanctuary

As fans of thewill know, Vogue Williams is certainly partial to Howth, though it’s not hard to see why. Blessed with some of Dublin’s best views, the beautiful peninsular village is as scenic as it is peaceful – with an abundance of things to eat, see and do in the locality.

Regularly moving between London and her beloved Howth, Vogue decided to buy a home in the area back in 2020 and she’s spent the guts of over two years renovating it into the perfect Irish escape – much of that done from afar during lockdown. “My Howth home is my relaxing place, it’s where our family like to go and chill out and somewhere I hope we’ll have forever because going home is super important to me,” Vogue said of finally having an Irish base to return to.

“The kids love it as well, as they have a group of friends over there too. I love being by the sea and feel very lucky to have it. The cliff walk is my favourite, it’s the best thing for your mind and body. I go with my friends, we catch up, have good chats and I just love everything about it.” Inspired by her surroundings and wanting to welcome that same sense of calm into the decor, she teamed up with interior decoratorAdmitting that she is “obsessed with all things interior”, Vogue recently gave followers a peek inside one of the bedrooms – and it’s clear she has an eye for detail. Favouring warm colours and soft textures, the walls are painted Bone China Blue with a speckled bench, several framed pieces of art and a cloud-like light fixture adding interest to the room.

A floating vanity table and mirror greet you as you enter the room, but it’s the king-size bed in the centre of the space that really draws the eye. Surrounded by a bespoke wraparound headboard, the pink boucle fabric is complemented by the solid marble bedside tables and brass fixtures. Other highlights include a unique dressing screen, custom-made to incorporate the same warm colours. Many of the items in this room were bought directly from Geri’s shop – which is “stunnnnnn”, as Vogue puts it.
