Rory McIlroy has reportedly split from wife Erica with the pair filing for divorce, according to reports.
The pair first met back at the 2012 Ryder Cup in Medinah. The couple had their wedding at the stunning five-star Ashford Castle in Cong, Co. Mayo, in April 2017.
McIlroy has previously described his wife, who is a New York native, as a ‘great influence’ and a ‘low-key person’ that brings a ‘calming presence’ to his life. They welcomed daughter Poppy into their lives back in August 2020.
