There was an increase in the number of social and affordable homes delivered last year, but the figures fell short of the Government's overall targets.

There was an increase in the number of social and affordable homes delivered last year, but the figures fell short of the Government's overall targets.

More than 4,000 affordable housing options were also delivered which is more than double the previous year's figure. Some 8,110 homes were new builds, 1,830 were acquisitions and 1,999 homes were provided through leasing programmes.
