Seven points from Oisin Gallen helped fire Donegal to a second win in a month over Tyrone

Ice cream and ice baths were the order of the evening for Jim McGuinness. Just minutes after a superb second half saw Donegal gun down Tyrone, McGuinness had his squad on the team bus and heading for the Donegal GAA Centre in nearby Convoy.

Darragh Canavan riffled a goal chance wide in the first half and an exciting tussle was delicately poised, Donegal leading 0-10 to 0-9, at half-time. When Kieran McGeary pointed with only 12 minutes to go, Tyrone were within three and their hopes lifted again. But Donegal finished well and Michael Langan soared over to twist the knife.
