The Hungary Football Association has issued a statement on footballer Barnabas Varga after he was injured in a sickening collision in yesterday's Euros match against Scotland.
A statement shortly after the game read: "Barnabás Varga's condition is stable! The player of Ferencvaros is currently in one of the hospitals in Stuttgart! We will inform you immediately if there is any news about its status!" Scotland goalkeeper Gunn also gave his view on the incident having also needed treatment. Speaking to the BBC, he said: "It was a bit of a blur. It was a bit painful and hopefully the guy is alright. I can't really remember too much about that one."
She said: "There are protocols after the Christian Eriksen incident, we were very surprised that UEFA chose to show that replay which is why we cut away as soon as we could."
