People can still show up at the centres without an appointment, but won't have to wait as long if they book online

The Health Service Executive has launched a new online booking system for Covid-19 tests in three locations.From Tuesday, 1 June, a person can book a Covid-19 test online at the following test centres:The National Show Centre Covid-19 Community Testing, Cloghran, Co. DublinThe HSE has said a person can only book a test online for themselves and can only book a time slot up to the end of the following day.

While people are still able to show up at these centres without an appointment, they may not have to wait as long if they book online. Under HSE guidelines, a person can attend a Covid-19 walk-in test centre if they are aged 16 years of age or over, live in the same area as the centre and have not tested positive for the virus in the last six months.

The centres in which a person can book a Covid-19 test online have been selected as part of a pilot scheme of the service, with work currently being done to extend this throughout Ireland.?Citywest, DublinYou can log on to our system and book your test up to 24 hours in advance. Learn more:
