A case of measles was detected on a flight from Abu Dhabi to Dublin on on Saturday, 9 March 2024 at 6:30am and anyone who was on board is asked to contact HSELive

The Health Service Executive have issued an Urgent Public Health Alert for passengers who arrived on a flight to Dublin Airport over the weekend.

The flight concerned is EY45 from Abu Dhabi to Dublin, which arrived in Ireland on Saturday, 9 March 2024 at 6:30am.Anyone on board this sector is asked to urgently contact HSELive. People are told be aware of signs and symptoms of measles until Saturday, 30 March 2024, which is 21 days from the time of possible exposure.If you have these symptoms and if illness develops, stay home in a separate room, and seek healthcare advice. Phone ahead prior to attending any healthcare setting to let them know that you have these symptoms, so they can make necessary arrangements.
