The scene where the bodies of a mother and her two children were discovered in Llewlyn court, Rathfarnham, Dublin earlier this week remains sealed off this afternoon.
Seema Banu, 37, her 11-year-old daughter Asfira Syed and six-year-old son Faizan Syed were found dead in their South Dublin home on Wednesday. . The Garda investigation into this case is continuing. Throughout the day people have continued to lay flowers at the base of a tree outside the house. Minister of State at the Department of Education Josepha Madigan was among those to pay her respects.
Gardaí have been in contact with the woman's partner and father of the children, who was distressed and has been given access to medical treatment.
