According to an Irish homeless service, a woman was found living in a tumble dryer over the last few days.
It comes as the number of people using homeless accommodation hit a new record for a sixth straight month.Writing on Facebook, Streetlink Homeless Support said: "Our outreach team is currently dealing with a young lady who’s been living in a tumble dryer at a garage on Dublin’s northside. According to the Irish Examiner, the Dublin Region Homeless Executive has since been in contact with the woman."It's devastating in terms of the imagery, the heartbreak, the pain of that choice that a person on the streets of Dublin have to make is just incomprehensible", he said.
