Over five kilogrammes of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €110,000 has been seized following the search of a residential premises in the Coolock area of Dublin.
The search was carried out as part of a joint operation between Revenue's Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, and drug units from the DMR North Central and Clontarf.

There musnt be a grain of cocaine in the country, speed? Heroin? I'd even settle for some codeine? Just cannabis Is that all they can ever find? Needles everywhere in certain parts of Dublin but this is all they can find Something is off about this!!

Legalise it ffs. Bang up the rapists, the woman beaters, the head kickers, those who assault guards, nurses, first responders, not the farmers.
What about seizing heavier drugs too? It's about time, isn't it?
That's good news. There is so much to be done in this direction. It's overwhelming and shocking the level of drugs consumption in Dublin.

Imagine the tax revenue the treasury would collect if it was legal. There's jobs in the sector - from growing to marketing and sales. There's money to treat drug dependency as a health not a criminal problem. You weaken gangs. You free up the gards for more important things.
More civilised countries all over Europe are legalising this and making millions in tax and creating jobs 🤷♂️
