Hand sanitiser used in many schools recalled

The Department of Agriculture has recalled an approved hand sanitiser which was widely in use in schools.

According to the Department of Agriculture's Biocidal Product Register the hand sanitiser should have been "withdrawn from use" on Tuesday. Our Lady Immaculate Senior School in Darndale is one of a number of schools that has been using the product.

Whoever made the decision and didn't notify the end users should be sacked. Typical lazy useless civil servant

Can nobody read labels anymore? Was it on the label? Do people not know that methanol is poisonous?

And they want people to take a rushed through vaccine what are they going to do recall it🤣🤣🤣

Full list of hand sanitizers flagged by FDA as being dangerous. The question remains, who was in charge of distributing a dangerous product to schools, and why. Was it very cheaply acquired by our gov since it was not recommended for use by FDA months ago?

Can we find out if there’s any association of a government minister with this company in the awarding of the contract to supply the sanitiser or would that be beyond the remit of the state broadcaster

What tests did this sanitiser undergo? Who approved it initially? Answers needed!How many students primary, secondary, teachers ancillary staff have been using this? It was brought to the attention of the department ofeducation Tuesday and the Public was nortified Thursday

This is beyond shameful...and frustrating for all schools involved. What a mess.
