Evidence Omicron causes milder symptoms - WHOMore evidence is emerging that the Omicron coronavirus variant is affecting the upper respiratory tract, causing milder symptoms than previous variants, a World Health Organization official has said. Professor Ian Jones, a virologist at the University of Reading, said descriptions of Omicron being a 'natural vaccine' were right. No need for people who have a positive PCR test to get a Booster. This was evidence about 3-4 weeks ago. Thanks! This story is a great con. 50% milder leads to just as many hospitalisations in 4 days with the relative transmission advantage of omicron.
