One of the stars of reality series Gogglebox became emotional on Friday night's episode whilst discussing a video showcasing the impact of coronavirus in Belfast.The reality TV star who was born in Larne was referring to a video created by Ar scáth a chéile-Upper Springfield Covid-19 Community Response and voiced by local man Tommy Holland.
Choking back tears, she continued: "He said there could be no greater expression of love than the people are staying at home to protect each other." He told Belfast Live: "Myself and Martin Keenan put it together for our Facebook site to promote the message to Stay at Home but to also to flip the sight of empty streets on its side, so that people were not fearful or stressed at the sight of so many empty spaces, but to embrace the love and the incredible way people were showing they cared by staying home, saving lives and showing their support for our NHS.
