Spain may be open for international travellers as a holiday destination by the end of spring, the tourism minister has said.
However, Ireland's international travel guidance is unlikely to allow for holidays in the next three to four months at the very least. The news will come as a huge boost to lockdown-weary Brits yearning for a summer holiday in the sun this year. He was speaking at the 113th meeting of the Executive Council of the World Tourism Organization held in Madrid on Wednesday.
