A witness has recounted the harrowing moment the girl was rescued from a hotel pool in Tenerife, Spain, approximately 50 minutes after the lifeguard's shift had ended, as per reports.
A witness, Acai Foster, who was on holidays with his family at Granada Park Aparthotel, described the occurrence as "an awful thing to witness" and expressed being "still in shock." He further expressed the enduring impact of witnessing the scene, stating: "The shock of witnessing the scene will forever live with me and my family."
According to Canarian Weekly, upon the arrival of a nearby police unit, the girl was conscious but visibly frightened.
