When it comes to gardening projects, many of us are more focused on taking care of the lawn and flowerbeds, but decorating around the front door with plants and greenery is a great way to make the exterior of the home look fabulous

There is a brand called TopBuxus which has a feed and a caterpillar treatment that work wonders on box plants, or you can use a mixture of copper sulphate and water. If your plant has box blight I would either get rid of it or try to nurse it back to health somewhere less prominent than your front door.Something that is far more common than box blight is people forgetting to water their plants. This results in them turning yellow and dying from dehydration.

It offers a lot more movement, lightness and frivolity to your front door. There are lots of ornamental grasses to choose from, including Chionochloa rubra and Stipa tenuissima “Pony Tails” – they both look beautiful in a pot.
