Gardai stop driver in Kilkenny at lunchtime who is under influence of multiple drugs

A driver was stopped by gardai in Kilkenny on Thursday and found to be under the influence of multiple drugs.

Officers conducted tests on the person at the wheel and found them to be under the influence of both cocaine and cannabis.A garda spokesperson said: "Thomastown Roads Policing Unit conducted a number of checkpoints and patrols today, stopped this driver at Paulstown at lunchtime.
