Gardai seeking movement of Toyota car after man's body found in burning car in Lucan, west Dublin

Gardai are seeking information on a navy Toyota car following the discovery of a man's body in a burning car.

A statement said: "The body has been removed to the Office of the State Pathologist, Whitehall, Dublin, where a post mortem will be carried out by Locum State Pathologist Dr. Heidi Okkers. "Gardaí are also appealing for anyone who may have information, including any road users who travelled in the area on the night of 18/11/2019 who may have dash cam footage available, to contact Gardaí in Lucan Garda Station on 01 666 7300 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111."

Local councillor Anne-Marie McNally told Dublin Live: "People are shocked and terrified. It's a very quiet estate, and everyone's very shaken.
