Gardai are probing whether a teenager who survived a kill bid was one of several men behind an attack on the chief suspect in the brutal murder of Keane Mulready-Woods.
A social media video posted last year showed a group of males confronting the notorious criminal on a Dublin street.Gardai believe the confrontation was the reason similar footwear was found in a bag containing parts of Keane’s dismembered body in January. Now gardai are investigating whether the teenager who was shot on Saturday night was one of the group who filmed the video.
. His condition is described as critical but stable. In a statement, a Garda spokeswoman said nobody has been arrested in relation to the shooting and their investigations are ongoing Gardai are probing whether the injured teen has links to another gangland murder victim, David “Fred” Lynch. The 26-year-old was shot in the head in 2009 by the same psychotic suspect in the murder-mutilation of 17-year-old Keane, gardai believe. The 35-year-old had left a gym in the Jervis Street area of the city when a number of men surrounded him.The thug, who had only just been released from jail, tried to hit back before being told “that’s only the start”.The suspect had been warned by gardai his life was in danger from at least three underworld factions.
