An elderly man has been arrested after he caused a number of collisions while driving the wrong way down a busy motorway.Then man drove southbound along the northbound route and reportedly caused two crashes - one near Kilmacanogue, and another near Arklow.
Junctions 13 to 21 northbound on the motorway were shut down by gardai after arresting the man at around 7:15pm on Sunday night.They said: "Gardai have arrested a male, aged in his 80s, following an incident of dangerous driving on the M11 yesterday evening, Sunday 5 December 2021 at approximately 7.15pm.
