A man in his 20s received stab wounds in the suspected homophobic assault. He was taken to Tallaght University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.A forensic examination has been carried out at the scene.Gardaí said in a statement the force has a significant focus on enhancing the identification, reporting, investigation and prosecution of hate crimes as part of its diversity and integration strategy.
If there is no such thing as a hate crime in Ireland then how is it a hate crime?
An African man attacked an Irish couple and was using racial slurs against the white Irish. I'm surprised the journal are reporting on this incident its doesn't suit their liberal agenda. This was a heinous hate crine
A serious assault is a crime. Calling it a 'hate' crime doesn't make it any less or more of a serious assault and should not be used to create differential justice for victims of 'hate' and 'non hate' assaults.
