Two suitcases containing more than €300,000 in cash were seized by gardaí during a search of an industrial unit in Dublin as part of an investigation into money laundering . The operation took place in Dublin 3 on Thursday, when gardaí from Clontarf conducted a search at an industrial premises, where they found two large suitcases stuffed with cash. The search was carried out following the receipt of information in relation to money laundering , according to a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána.
No arrests have been made but related enquiries are continuing into connections with the unauthorised distribution or administration of prescription medications associated with cosmetic and beauty treatments.
