Gardaí have renewed their appeal for information in relation to a fatal car crash in Knocknaheeney, Co Cork last Wednesday, in which a 16-year-old girl was killed.
Gardaí have said they are interested in speaking to the driver of a white Toyota taxi car, which was travelling on Harbour View Road between 11.30pm and midnight on the night of the crash.16-year-old Kimberly O'Connor was a passenger in a car that hit a wall on Harbour View Road at around 11.45pm that night.The driver of the car, who is believed to be 16, fled the scene on foot, but later presented himself at Mercy University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 17-year-old boy in the back of the car was taken to Cork University Hospital, where he is described as being in a critical condition.Gardaí say anyone with information can contact them at Gurranabraher Garda Station on 021 494 6200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
