Gardaí and family members of a man shot dead in Mayo in 2013 are appealing to the public for help in their continued investigation.
Owen and his wife Anna lived locally in the area and were married for eight years before his untimely death at just 26 years of age.Later that afternoon they went home and Anne prepared lunch before Owen left to go to a nearby service station to fill up some water canisters. Gardaí say they know that the BMW Estate car was stolen from a hotel near Dublin Airport, on December 6, 2013.
The registration of the car was 06G3981 but it was fitted with cloned registration plates with 09D30024.
