Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Fiona Pender, who went missing in 1996, have made a fresh appeal for information in advance of the 26th anniversary of the case.
Gardaí based in Tullamore and Portlaoise hope that someone who saw Ms Pender before her disappearance or has information about what happened to her may now feel able to come forward. “Gardaí continue to appeal to any person who may have previously come forward who felt they could not provide Gardaí with all the information they had in relation to this matter, to contact the investigation team again,” a Garda statement said.
