Gardaí were forced to disperse crowds at a number of beauty spots over the weekend as large numbers gathered in coastal areas to enjoyed the sunshine.
Across the bay, gardaí closed the Bull Wall bridge to cars to stem the numbers gathering on Dollymount beach. It will remain closed to cars until Tuesday. Parks, beaches and beauty spots were the focus for gardaí enforcing the coronavirus restrictions over the weekend. A reduction of overtime has meant a decrease in the number of road checkpoints in operation.
Yet apparently 'thousands' gathered in Dublin to protest..... Wtf? 🙄
Its always the motorist fault, isn't that right GardaTraffic What about the mass gatherings today in town?...too difficult for you?
Yeah let the lefty liberal loons march all over dublin city center and stop a family going to the beach with the kids for a few hours ....... it's always the soft target with the cops ......
Hmmm, and they ignored the shite protest going on near the American Embassy that was nothing to do with Dublin
LeoVaradkar SimonHarrisTD but they let march tousands...
We pay these clowns wages for this the shamdemic is over
It’s over. gardainfo just let thousands of people protest in Dublin City centre over sh*t that has nothing to do with Ireland
Good! But with this weather it'll be harder and harder to keep people away. I don't envy the Gardaí.
And yet....
That zombie company still going? Still trying to sell us nature? Get fucked.
Here we go again.
A small island where it rains 300 days of the year and after a week of sunshine they’re talking drought... the other week they were telling people to go easy washing your hands, in a pandemic! The level of incompetence with irish water beggars belief
maybe media outlets like the IT should stop showing pictures like this, it's not helpful to those of us who live more than 5 km from the sea
