Former Game of Thrones star Liam Cunnigham has said he tries to keep old age at bay - but said he would never want roles in movies that require him to have a buff body.

The 60-year-old Dubliner likes to keep in shape and has enlisted the help of celebrity personal trainer Paul Byrne to help him prepare for his roles.Read More:Liam Cunningham describes 'warzone' hospital where sister lay injured after Stardust fire in 1981But he said he wouldn’t want to be part of a project that requires actors to be physically in shape.

“I’m doing a very large Netflix show with guys that wrote and produced Game of Thrones. It’s their first show since Game of Thrones. It’s science fiction. It’s an adaptation of a Chinese science fiction novel – the aliens are coming.” Others cast on the show include Sea Shimooka, Jess Hong, Jovan Adepo, Saamer Usmani, Marlo Kelly, Zine Tseng and Alex Sharp. The streaming giant have yet to confirm who each actor will portray in the series.
